Users are able to register for an account with Etcetera Online. Users must provide their Herald Webmail
email address during the registration process (an email address provided by Oxford University's Computer Services). Users who
are not able to or do not provide such an address will not be allowed to register. Users must also provide a desired username,
author name and password which will allow them access to membership only areas of Etcetera Online. Upon successful registration, the
following terms apply:
i. Registered users of Etcetera Online will use their account solely for their own personal activity. Their
username and password are also deemed personal to each user and are not to be used by any other individual.
ii. Each user is restricted to having ONE account with Etcetera Online. Once a user has registered with their
Herald Webmail address, they will not be able to register with the same address again and should not attempt to use any other
email address to create more than one account.
iii. OSPL reserves the right to terminate, ban or delete a user's account at any time and without prior notice.
3. USER UPLOADS
Registered users of Etcetera Online are able to upload creative writing and photography/images of their
artwork (all of which are covered by the term "work" below) to the website. Registered users are also able to post comments on
their work and on other peoples' work. The following terms apply the posting of comments AND the uploading of users' work.
i. Users must only upload their own personal work and not that of any other individual. By uploading work
to Etcetera Online, you agree that you are the sole holder of its copyright.
ii. Users agree NOT to upload content of the following types:
- Pornographic images or other pornographic or sexually explicit material.
- Abusive or slanderous material.
- Material for which they are not the sole copyright holder.
- Malicious material such as code, viruses, 'spam' or any other disruptive content.
iii. Users also agree to comply with any other restrictions placed on uploads to specific sections. E.g. Images uploaded
to the Artwork section must be no larger than 1MB.
iv. You agree that Etcetera Online will not be held responsible for any content posted or uploaded or otherwise contributed
to Etcetera Online by registered users.
v. Etcetera Online reserves the right to edit, delete or otherwise modify ANY content uploaded to or posted on its website
by registered users. Etcetera Online also reserves the right to edit, delete or otherwise modify content without prior notice.
4. COPYRIGHT
The following copyright rules apply to content on Etcetera Online:
i. Registered users who upload their work MUST acknowledge that by doing so they grant total, exclusive, royalty free, and
worldwide copyright of ANY uploaded material to Etcetera Online. Intellectual copyright, however, will ALWAYS remain with the user.
Users must also be aware that Etcetera Online will not be held responsible
in any way for plagiarism of material on its website.
ii. All other content, designs, images and code which are part of Etcetera Online is copyright to Etcetera Online

5. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
Etcetera Online reserves the right to edit these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
6. ENGLISH LAW
These terms are governed by English law and users of Etcetera Online agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of
the English courts.
