The Swallow

Flight Your competent wings and hollow bones. Your plum stone chest and walnut skull. You are adrenaline. Flying for no other purpose Than silence and the liquid sky. My e u p h o r i a Laughs in fresh ripe notes from your stockinged throat. Launch each syllable into silky space Hear them glitter Down to Earth. There will be no alighting, not tonight With the moon so clear and stars so bright!
