Aesthetic

Slanted evenings
without you I was not beautiful
as, when unseen, you did not shine.

Mirrors opposed
catch and return the light
between ourselves.
Notes:
Written on the first cloudless evening of spring. I am a novice at (a) this site (b) poetry. Criticism of my approach to either is hence much appreciated.

I do like \'slanted evenings\' though. and the second stanza is amazing.

hey, I stumbled upon you! Hi! the second stanza is better than the first, which was a little convoluted.
