Mutterweh

When the sun shines like pineapple juice or urine-free disease
(I have no energy to unmuddle these)
Shall I stick these coloured fingers in and draw conclusions?
I cannot dip into the ocean
because the ocean, meaning me-
yet my mother's anguish clouds it,
and not the things I see.
Notes:
ache of the mother
